I think the big Persons Majestic Siren were call Wildcat. This one is called a Wildcat Junior. Got to love this line from the ad - "Loud enough to please the youth and not disturb the peace."

Made another 4 hour round trip night run to get a bike. This time it was to Charleston to get this 1949 Schwinn straight bar. I have a couple of Schwinn DX bikes, but this is my first straight bar Schwinn.

that Schwinn straight bar is sweet!!! I was about to say klunker but im thinking maybe keep it as is it looks complete and in decent shape. nice score.
I think someone here told me that straight bar like that is what's called a model c but I am uncertain on that just a guess. it is sweet though and it is already ratrod colored maybe some whitewalls
