Hmmm... Looks like maybe 1973-74 model. Six spoke sprocket. No oiler on chainguard. No truss rods. I had a similar bike and also thought it was much older when I traded for it. But still a great bike that will hold a big tire!

Maybe that bike misses the cold, and OSU Michigan rivalry.This one popped up one of the local FB sale pages. The owner picked it up from a Habitat for Humanity store in Michigan before they moved to Savannah
Check those when you get them, the ones I got last year were a bit hard to turn at first. One kept backing out of the crank. I had to use loctite til they loosened up.

They are good quality tho.
That would make for a cool muscle bike front end.Picked up this Roadmaster exercise bike today. I've sold the bars in the past as Iverson like bars. Cool seat and pedals and solid brick read tire.
