Picked up this 1930s Harris made Hawthorne on Friday thanks to @josh_from_ga .

Then kept the saddle, guard, and pedals for myself and sold the rest of the bike to a local bike friend

As a Brit, I've never even seen a lot of the vintage stuff that gravitates towards your stash.

Can confirm. I see a bike on CL locally and soon hear a wind rushing noise as KF flies past my house at well over the posted speed limit to scoop up said listing

Went to Hala Targova Sunday flea market here in Krakow, Poland the other day. It was less than 10 minutes from our hotel. Scored this cool leather springer saddle. Not a Lepper, but pretty nice. Supposedly it is an old Soviet Russia model. Good wide cruiser size. Not bad for six bucks USD.

Got this beauty in the mail from @Princepavo today. Back in 2007 @Uncle Stretch build his first stetched Colson clone. Early 2008 he built a 2nd and 3rd one for Steve's Dad (@RatRodDad) and Steve (@Rat Rod). After a lot of digging around, I've determined that Uncle Stretch still has #1, @ind-chuckz has #2, and I now own #3.

Now I can pop wheelies and play chicken with trucks! This popped up on FB marketplace for at a price I couldn't resist. 2022 GT Performer 29 (never ridden). Total departure from my norm, but I've always been intrigued by the 29er BMX bikes for some reason. Funky peach and green color, but I kinda dig the 80s vibe from it.

SOLD - had my fun with a few rides, then flipped it for $100 profit.
