Got a project fork coming my way. It's a bent up version of the same Hawthorne Snyder springer that I used on Flexy in BO7. It's gonna take some work to make this one usable again.

I didn't realize that Harley Earl actually designed the Evan Action Springer. The BB shroud of the Elgin definitely has an Earlesque look to it.

Yes they should really look good together.

The Evans springer looks a lot like the original equipment lights!

Yeah, gowjob already said that I should try and get that twin torpedo light shroud, but I don't think I can find a deal one of those.

1950's Evans = designer : Harley Earl

That's pretty sweet looking.
I think the challenge with adding anything on top of these forks is trying to prevent the additions from detracting from the double spring winged coolness.

Evansaction Springer. These look cool but they don't really have much action due to the use of an elastomer. They are also tricky to disassemble and reassemble. Patent drawing copies follow.
