Should be a cool build. I am taking my Humu and rebuilding with a Nexus 7spd. I really love the frame and ride. Most recently it was attached to my Xtracycle.

Thanks for the compliment. The fork is a Kona Project 2 with a disc mount on it.

Oh, and very nice Klunker, by the way. I'm building one now from a 1939 Schwinn. It will be more of a "Bomber" because it doesn't have gears.

pbr.. i saw that pic on bmxmuseum forums. very nice! i think gold is the logical choice for the bmx parts as it matches the stock rims and yellow logo decals

im not going to go as far as replacing the cranks and headset and all that... as i think that just replacing some stock stuff with retro bmx goodies will make it really stand out.

im rrrreally exicted about the skull skates bars, as they are the only company out there making retro bmx cruiser bars.

the pedals and seatpost clamp have arrived... so now im waiting for the stem, bars and brooks b72 seat!
