Well, I had a freind ask if I could find or build him a chopper style bike. I thought about what I had laying around the shop and this came to mind. I had one more NOS Kustom Kruiser frame and a long triple tree fork, I found a 24" 72 spoke rear and a 26" front to match, and some Kenda flames which matched the flame theme on the Deuce.

Ok, agreeably not too far from the original, but since they are no longer available this will have to do. Mocked it up today with the parts above, and bent a gooseneck seat post for it, but still not sure what to do for bars??? I stole a couple bars off some of
my other bikes to try out, so let me know what you think?

Here it is with cafe racer style bars

and, same bars turned upward

and, with some bent apes. This configuration felt best, but then I'm partial to apes.

Marty, I feel the same way about the apes, they make it a cool and comfortable ride. Black on black it don't get any better. Need to put the bike in front of that slick El-camino of yours. Mark
