there is one here in the valley I went to, people were paying stupid prices for junk. A lady's huffy, cranbrook went for $135. Ya 135 bones. They started asking $150 for it, the bid dropped to $10 till someone took the bait, then $15 then the auctioneer went straight to $50 ad it didn't stop till $135. Gary fisher bike, normal mtb with a taco'ed front wheel went for $200. I left after 20 minutes and haven't went back.

Not sure on the online deal, can you have it shipped to you?

Doesn't look like they ship the bike lots; a few of the single bikes they offer shipping on, but the shipping cost would negate any deal you may have gotten on the bike. Additionally, I highly doubt that they are professional bike shippers who are going to take the utmost care in packaging your new found treasure.

Cops are funny about found property. They jam it in the trunk of their car and then at the property
room they have lots of bikes, so they usually have a fenced in area they keep them. Its usually outside
because of the shear number of found bikes. Then when they auction them off they do it in lots to get
rid of them. We went to one and they were all junk and rusty. Their gun auctions are the same. They
melt the pistols and stack the rifles and shotguns in a truck using prisoners and they are all scratched
and really rusty. Then they ask more than what you could get a new one for.

My neighbor is a PD and he says that they keep the bikes for 7 years, locked up out side, Evidence reasons.
