I wanted to keep this because it was a Snyder framed Emory from the 70's and it was a match to my Super deLuxe. I swiped the Sachs 3 speed from it for my Emory and substituted a good one speed. I also kept the sprocket and put a 44 tooth sprocket on to make it the right ratio. The original wheel set had a 22 tooth cog and are now on my big beach cruiser, Highboy.
One of my wife's friends needed a good bike to commute back and forth on, and this was the most reliable bike I could offer. Away it went to make room for more bikes. It was one of the first Emorys, before they made their own frames so the quality is as good or better than Worksman. She really likes this bike, I'm glad it's getting some use.
All shined up:
barn find shot with another Emory
My Super deLuxe
later model Emory with their own style frame, still a good bike.
