Picked this girl out of the trash. Besides the neglect, appears to be in reasonable condition.
At first I was considering just stripping it for parts, but now I'm sorta inclined to tuning her up and doing a kind of town and country conversion by changing out the handlebars for a set of North roads, a cruiser saddle, a fender set and rear rack, maybe a dynamo lighting kit.
It's a bike friendly college town so it might be a good turnover.
Thoughts? Opinions?
That same dumpster haul turned up a complete Pacific Spitfire FV3. Shot some PB Break on the chain and it's functional again with little to no adjustments.
I understand it's a near worthless wallmart special. It's not at all at a comfortable size for me to ride, but the brother likes it, so it's his now.
