Still playing the waiting game! :x
I finally received by black wheel set and just as I get them in the garage, i put a nice big scratch on my rear rim!
No biggie, i touched it up and hung it up to dry, should be mounted on tomorrow, after that I only have my bars and seat post to wait for. I am really hoping to have her wrapped up and done by this friday.
Here is a somewhat updated pic, I love the black and brick tire/wheel combo.

I have been cruising with these bars, they are very comfortable but they do not fit the lines of the bike imo. I ordered some Porteurs and fake leather, dark brown bar tape.

The brown tires look so much better. They match the saddle and the bar tape. I'm doing the same thing with my Rollfast/Hawthorne, except my bike is staying rusty.

Re: late 30's Roadmaster build (DONE) 4now...

So after waiting for parts here and there, I finally feel that the bike is done(for now). I had originally ordered some VO Porteurs but I just did not like them when they finally came in, so I ditched them and just kept the chopped bars that you see. I also got rid of the grips I was using and used some coke bottle grips on that i had lying around. I went with a layback seat post, not to slam my seat down, but to provide a more comfortable less cramped stance. I finally have her all tuned in to where I can cruise at a decent speed and still climb the hilly area where i live. Well, here are some pics I took this morning after my cruise at the beach.. My phone died after the first picture, so I took the rest at home

A build that's minimal yet really stands out. The less is more thing going on. Not easy to do. Very nice.
