I saw a young guy riding one of these at a flying Wallendas show, the wheel does not stay perpendicular to the floor as you would expect, but "wobbles"
back and forth and the top of the wheel seems to rest on the inner ankle of the rider. It looks awkward, but pretty neat. I didn't think less of the kid riding it, because he also rode 8 foot and taller unicycles.
 
I wondered what that was because one of the bike shops here has one with a star pattern I think almost like the one in that video.
 
You gotta love how "graceful" all these guys look on these contraptions, wiggling back and forth with their arms out... :roll: :lol:

Yeah, I noticed that, the off-road guy had some shin guards turned in and the stage guy had some fancy boots, like I said, that wheel WILL rub your inner legs.
