Leather Dyeing?

I have an old brooks saddle that I would like to change from brown to red/maroon but I still want to keep it intact.....is this possible

i used some shoe polish to darken a honey brown leather.
it worked pretty well.

not sure if it comes in a reddish color or not.

They make dye specifically for leather, but it would probably end up pretty dark. Shoe repair shop, or tack and saddle supplies.
