well ive got this far and now the batteries r gettin hot ? does anyone know whats up on that ? mayb cause the swtch was in the on position ? ..here r a few pics ...does this look rite ? any help would b cool ....MIKE

Mike you may have the switch shorting the battery pack do this . only one wire on each terminal

My battery pack also was getting hot. I wrapped electrical tape around it end to end to make sure it wasn't shorting out on anything when I closed it all up. Haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps you.

gary in ur pic ...the neg wire goes to the neg spot on the lite ...then the wire commin off the top is hooked 2 the spring then ? ....

Mike the neg of the battery pack goes to the neg side of the led (round circle) the pos side of the battery pack to one terminal of the switch, the other terminal of the switch to the led pos (spring)

well its a funny story ...the day after u showed the diagram i went back 2 dads 2 fix it ...well he already had it figured out ...just had 2 make one more connection . i didnt wanna use the big gun i wanted 2 use the little tipped one ...well it wasent charged up enuff ...that was 2 days ago ...havent been back yet 2 finish LOL ...ill get some pics up when its done ...promise !!!
