Edit: COOL! Yeah, got the whole bike at a police auction for $35- swapped bar/stem for an 80 MCS BMX stem &(at the time)mini-RM-bend MC bars- 2.5" downhill tires- safetypin seat- the thing just makes me LAUGH. Ihave ridden it over most of my main/local usual MTB trails- w/a 23x9 skiptooth and USELESS ND coaster *brake* there's a lot of walking, but still HECKA fun.

That would be me- coupla summers or so ago.... sporting my Vanden High *sober grad night 11* T- I played in a covers band, for drinks(!). The yellow doodad on the bars is my father's *fall risk* wristband- he'd just gotten out of the hospital; a fall resulting in a bumped melon at 87 got him a helicopter ride and a couple of stays at UCD med ctr. I keep it around to remind me of what I have, to be careful, etc...
I got LOTS more bikes- more pics coming, or should I start a new topic/thread for each bike? There's a pretty good variety- the 47 is my oldest.

91 Retrotec, setup as a SS MTB. HUGE fat rubber and super-soft riding rea end make for a pleasant ride. Bike is now a road commuter

OK, last one for awhile- maybe more *appropo* for RRB:

My wife's 80-something Rockhopper, configured for farmer's market jaunts. I airbushed the floral design & squirted on *Pagoda Green* BITD... the thing has the LOUDEST bell in the stable.
