I just picked up a crazy kickstand at my LBC ( actually I will name the shop as he could really use some business,its called Bicycle Rack and it is in Lakeport Ca (707)263-1200 the owners name is David Jeffries)ok Dave free advertisement, any ways this was in his discount box and the spoke covers someone just gave me the other day.[img]http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg195/holyrollin72/accessories003.jpg[/img]
 
Those spinners are gonna look good.........I think you should SAVE them for a "build off" bike!.....Yeah :roll:

I do love that bottle opener, but I was thinking more of store bought bike accessories.

an old school twist throttle, off of my second bike (mid '70s)

and my old battery powered plastic engine (my dad never tossed it out!) complete with key ignition dial, that switches sound from start up to idle and 3 different speed rpms. still works too! the old VROOMMM 2, by Mattel

Here are my weird accessories. Not really weird but oldschool stuff. Aerostruts and crashbars.

This is what the aerostruts look like on a bike. The struts really stiffen up the bars and make for a better feel. B607

Aerosrtuts, never new what to call them other than struts. i also have a set with the jewels...anyone have a extra one "broken"! :wink:
Also are they made to slide on the bars or be fixed to them?
 
The upper end has a band. The plate bolts to the axle. The lower end of the strut goes through a loop and screws to the plate in the appropriate hole. It has a good amount of adjustment. The bad thing about them is you can't use them on a springer front end. B607
