Think I've had this one since last summer ... it's finally getting cleaned up and is in pieces on my kitchen table right now. Will add some new pics when it gets slapped back together.

I had a similar bike to the OP's Mr America, only the chainguard read "Stars & Stripes"
Not a Thunder Road but a very cool early BMX bike.Not sure of the year but think that it is an early 80"s model.

that is a cool bike. awesomeness all around! i would love to get one of these in my stable even if i cannot ride it it just screams cool.

This is a friend of a friend's Wildfire bike, back in day. Lost to history, looks similar to me. Just a sweet picture.
