Chainy, It was a 1972 TM 250. I had 2 of them after this picture was taken. I increased the power by porting and polishing along with a bigger carb. Frame mods, tires, and shaving the weight down was as far as I took it. it made a big differance over the stock bikes. Then kids on their newer RM 125 and 250's came out and changed everything. I could not keep up with these kids that had new bikes and racing more than one class, their fathers having deep pockets. I do have the fond memory of racing twice at a world class track in Peperrell MA. Now my 86 year old father still uses my old cycle trailer, converted to a flat trailer to haul his logs and snowblowers and things.
