Well, in order to lose something, you have to own it in the first place. It came like this. I picked it up last spring and finally got around to seeing if I can disassemble it. I cleaned mine. Painted it with Chrome Paint. looks like silver and then put clear over it. I think it Looks good.I dont think I ever bothered to notice before., is your variation a complete metal tank, bezel and all? Mine has a plastic bezel and its peeling pretty hard.
How do you mount the seat like this? I've seen a few of these and love it.Here's my 1951 model...
