My dad worked with a guy name Jim Howell years ago. It seems Jim and John Buttera grew-up together and were both into customizing bicycles at a very young age (I think he said around 9 years old). Jim was the guy who designed hemi underglass and the lil red wagon. Jim's brother actually built the cars. As far as I know Jim still builds custom bicycles under the name Crawford cycles. Two true innovators that started out working on bicycles. He will be missed......

man....that just ruined my day 
he was a great man and a pioneer in the hotrod world...one of my idols is gone at least he passed some of his knowledge on to us(in a way he still lives :mrgreen: ) and his work will always be timeless in my eyes.........
