Are these clear tubes on forks necessary or should they be removed?
The only thing it looks like it might be useful is so the forks don't hit the frame.

Pretty well packed...good assembly instructions, some of which I followed.

Let me say it is a “juvenile bicycle”. I’m definitely before it’s time. But it’s well built, clean welds and construction. Cool to look at, my wife said it’s pretty. If I were a collector I’d probably need all three colors.

I bought one for my son. He's 7, he loves it. The only gripe I have is, the metal bits that attach the chain guard to the frame bend super easy.
