A guy that lives in my town sent me a few pictures of a couple bikes he said I could have if interested. They've been in the back corner of an old garage on a lot he purchased a couple years back. He's knocking the garage down next week and I can go get these this weekend. 2 is a boys black Schwinn 3speed Corvette. He only sent 3 close-ups of it. The second is an older boys skip tooth straight bar he said there is no badge and no chaingard. He only sent me 1 close-up of the crank. I don't recognize the sprocket. And it's going to drive me nuts until this weekend. lol

The Corvette.

The mystery bike.
The only other info I have is that it's green and white. Thanks for looking.

the green serial...
Looks like a V or W or a CW to the left and an CW at the far right. needs more cleaning.
So made by Cleveland Welding Supply.
There are CWS serial charts at The Cabe.
The extra letters to the right will narrow down the A serials to different series and years. (none / CW / ACW )
A##### (no extra letters) could be 1935 or 1942
A##### CW doesn't appear to be valid for 1947.
A##### ACW would be 1949.
Lots of work went in to compiling this info over the past 10 years or so.
CWS made bikes for many stores/retailers with different names. Later on they got bought and moved. Their most famous bike was the Road Master cruisers. I have one that I have yet to identify 100% due to a barn paint job and lack of adverts/catalogs for the particular bike. I learned that they would use different sprockets and other parts like fenders, racks, tanks, etc for different brand names on essentially the same bike.

Just finished clearing off my work bench and about to start cleaning it. Thanks for the info, I'll post pictures after it's cleaned up.

After scrubbing the grime and grease away according to the link to the list you posted it's a 1954 CW bike. Odd coincidence that it's the same year and style of the 20" 1954 boys Hawthorne I picked up this last spring.
