Has anyone here (or there) ever modified or extended an OCC rear fender? I'd like to lengthen one or make a longer one to go over a 24x4.25 tire. Or is there one available that looks original or close to it?

Not a lot of help, but a good visual aid. I am currently gathering parts to build this same bike. The fender shouldn't be too difficult to put together. I'm thinking trim the fenders spot weld strips underneath little body work, done. Wow when I say it like that it sounds really easy  .

Sorry pic you want is about half way down.

I like the look of a wrap-around fender! I think if I took a couple 20" fenders, pie-cut them to fit the 24x4.25, and spent about 2 months tack welding, filling, sanding, priming, sanding, filling.....you know the drill, it would look okay. The bad part is I don't have a welder or talents for "large" bodywork projects like that. Model cars are something different....

I'd be interested in seeing if anyone has ever done something like that to a fender already.
