Longer Shifter Cable

Does anybody know if a longer cable for a "Shimano SL-3S35 Nexus Inter 3-Speed Twist Shifter" is available somewhere? I recently put ape hanger style handlebars on my bike. I'd like to mount the shifter up top next to the handle grip. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Any shift cable should work. Or you can get a tandem shift cable. Unscrew the plastic cover to undo the cable from the shift linkages.

my LBS got me a tandem shifter cable for when I built my recumbent bike. It was 10 foot long.

Same thing for brake cables. I had to get a tandem brake cable for Fugsley.

The $6 pack of Bell replacement cables at Wal-Mart will work fine. I did a Nexus inter7 speed this summer with 16" apes, no problem.... and you'll have an extra shifter and 2 brake cables. Just cut the housing and cable lengths and crimp on the ends.
