Quick mock up...

The rims are the only things to stay, I'm thinking of keeping the frame "raw" as it is, what do you guys think?

I bought it from a company called "SM-PARTS" in Germany (strange name, i know..) Don't know if they also make them.

Nice frame. I think keeping the frame raw would look good. Would also look good with a wooden tank.

Hey - would you be so kind as to divulge where you found such a frame?

The builder is a member here.....
He posted just a couple posts up

actually it's me and a friend making these.

Glad you like it. Your parts selection looks good.

Cheers from Germany.

He Sebastian!

Thanks for creating such a nice frame :D , is this work or hobby?
I noticed some PG bikes on "Ungeahnt", also work of your hand?

Thanks all! Will keep the progress posted...

Cheers

You're welcome dude! It's more hobby than work - but I hope to sell some of them.

Yeah, I worked for Pimpgarage a few years ago. Designed the frames and they built them. Also did some of their grafics work. But as they went out of business in 2008 and came back as PG-Bikes I stoped working with/for them.
The work was gone - the hobby stayed. And now it's kind of a "hobby-job" to design and build for TheSourceCycles.

I'm curious about our built. Will follow it here.

btw: here's mine: 8)

Hi,me like this frame very much.
Are that elctra parts you've used in the mock-up?
Looks good to the frame.
I'm curious, how it looks when you're ready with the build up.
Gonna watch this topic.

Progress has been slow due to work (starting a new bussines) and a small vacation..... And trying to select parts has been a pain also..

But i'm back on track so here we go..

Here's a pic of the (for now) colorscheme and inspiration:

@ Lowjackr, for the mock up I used Basman Rims (red with black spokes, old tires) and a stem from a Dyno glyde, handlebar is homemade.

Hope to start painting this weekend and get some work done...

Finally got some paint!

Went a totally different way with the colorscheme... Want to create a boardtracker v.s. hotrod kinda style.
Tank is almost done, went for a semi-dragbar with leather grips, speedometer and visor headlight, streethog tires on basman rims, still waiting for the saddle. :?
Next task, pinstriping.....

Here's a cellphone picture,
