Lost but I've been found

Recently found what I thought was long-lost: my childhood 1973 Ross Polo. Had been hiding in the attic of my grandpa's garage for nearly 40 years. Reunited and it feels so good.

That is in nice shape! Was that the condition it was discovered in? Or did you have to restore it back to its former glory?
So cool to have the actual bike you grew up with :mrgreen:

It was quite dirty, so mainly elbow grease and taking it apart to clean it well. The only thing I didn't completely dissassemble is the rear hub. Banged out a couple of dents in the fender. Could hardly believe the tires stayed inflated. Now all I need to do is replace the missing rear fender, get matching grips (one was replaced), and find some missing reflectors.

Here's Beatrix updated: found a rear fender, matching grip (one was mismatched), missing reflectors (need a couple more), new seat (there was just NO padding on the original), and misc accessories. Lots of fun to ride!
