Does anyone have any ideas on how these things can be reinforced so that there's less wobble from side to side? I got a motorized bike proj in the works and I'm using lowrider forks for the front end and I need it as firm as possible.

Sounds like you have a trail issue, we could use some pics to evaluate your situation a little better. Take the pics from the side.

Sounds like NEGATIVE trail. Wobble, or very, very sensitive steering, is the nature of the "beast". With PRACTICE, and finesse, you'll get used to it.........Personally I wouldn't put a motor on, until you've mastered the handling..........My Space Bike Build, SNOT ROCKET, made me learn ALL about negative trail.........In the beginning it was quite a handful to ride, I enjoy it now............I laugh when an EXPERIENCED cyclist "tries" it, they get nervous, quickly. Then, this old man, gets on it and makes it ride STRAIGHT and SMOOTH.............Practice makes perfect!

If its wearing out around the bolt like mine are, you might have to weld or fasten a support bar going from one side to the other. I know it sounds a little confusing. Ill post pics of mine when my welder comes back from warranty.

Thanks for the help guys. The trail is out of whack, but that's just because of the way the forks are designed. I took a closer look there there are a couple of places I can reinforce the forks, and there are a couple of peices I can just simply weld in place and still be able to remove them if I have to. I'm not using a spring on it. I replaced the spring with a piece of tubing.
