It would look cool if you could tie the seat post into the frame extension

I guess I'm moving kinda slow on this one. Here a couple updates.
I'm cleaning up the kickstand mounting area.

Filled the hole on the top.

Opened the hole on the bottom a little st this weld nut will fit in the hole.

Welded it in place.

It's a small thing, but it'll be a cleaner detail.

I received this fork in the mail today.

I think it will work nicely with this light I found at a flea market last fall.

The light is 110, so I'll have to switch it over to 12volt somehow.

Great job, it's the little details you think no one will notice that make all the difference to me (they can also be the least bang for your buck, but in my mind it's worth the effort).

I also like how the extra seat stays line up with the new seat post. I personally would definitely attach them together for strength. I'm digging, man!

My frame extension is welded and all together!

I think I will put some kind of threaded insert in where the fender bolts up, so it has a better connection.

Maybe some custom valve stem covers.

Cut down three 1/4"-20 weld-nuts for the fender mounts and they're welded in place.

Now I can dial in the rear fender. I think I'm going to have to lengthen it a little bit.

I switch to another fender that I had.

It has less issues and is a little wider. I have no idea what kind of bike it's off of.

I had to put a 1/4" spacer between the fender and the frame to get the wheel the fit in the middle f the fender. So, I'm not none dialing in the the rear wheel.


This tank does fit as nice as I would like.

I may have to make an adjustment somewhere.

I need to start working on the headlight too.

I think I'm going to use the light from one of thoughs LED head band lights.

And last for now, I'm looking at two chainguards.


I'm kinda leaning toward the greenish one. For either one, I'll need to lengthen the back end and modify the mounts.
