Finally finished up...well, made perfectly rideable....my wife's 1967 Robin Hood 3 speed. And got a new tire on my 1972 Triumph.
The Robin Hood came from a garage sale a few years back absolutely covered in what seemed to be motor oil and dust. The Triumph was my Dad's.
My first memory of a being in a real bike shop was going with my parents when they bought a matching set of Triumph 3 speeds.
Rolling around the on 'em yesterday afternoon was pretty fun.
Not quite restorations, not rat rods. But they're funky old made in Nottingham, England bikes I like.
