So my platform for my 1st bike build is a 24in Sears spyder. A couple weeks ago I bought a spyder 500 (girls bike) because the chrome was so clean it would be a great donor for the roachy 10speed That’s getting built. I got the 500 home and can’t bring myself to chopping up this clean bike. Any who I found a 5 speed spyder that I also can’t bring myself to chopping up. The other two bike I got from the same guy for an additional $25. $300 for all 3 and the rear slick on the western flyer is in decent shape and some cool handle bars. Anyway my weekend find

I remember as a kid throwing my leg over my bike w an upswept rear fender like the one on the bike w the black banana seat, and I sliced my inner thigh open. Looked just like a football. Would it be weird to say its one of my fondest childhood memories?
