I started on the fenders. Before...

After (but not done)...

wow - those came out great, hard to believe they're the same fenders.
Agree with Luike, a little patina will blend right in and have the look.
( when I first got into bikes I wanted everything perfect, so repainted some I never should have,tore some down that never got done,etc.. lately I've been more and more into the survivor look, buzzword seems to be ' vintage clean' as of late. ). Watching this one for progress, lot of nice rides in the buildoff this year.

I'm doing clean up on small parts today. The brake calipers are aluminum and they cleaned up very well...

Has a real nice 'flow' to the overall look. Like the fender placement, bar position, and the way the pie plate mimics the chain ring in size and visual.

I got the last of the little parts clean and put the grips, seat, donor sissy bar, kickstand, and shifter on this morning. I need to think about the cable routing and put the chainguard on still but it's almost done. With the seat in the position it's in I'm touching the ground on my tip toes! Good thing I'm only 5'7"ish!

I always thought the dual brake setup in the back looked alot cleaner than the brake in the back and the front.

Going to have to get me a 24" long frame one of these days !!
