Thanks, it's been good meditation finding some time for the tedious chrome cleaning after work and life have been so busy lately. Rewarding too.

Here is the rear wheel pics. Original Dunlop tire. I have the original tube that I will keep with the bike, but had to put a new one in it.

Rolled it outside semi assembled to get some progress pics. The only brightwork left is the sissy bar, cranks and chainring.

I always liked those Raleigh Choppers. I had a friend when I was a boy who had one. He had to ask his dad if he could ride it and his old man wouldn't let anyone else ride it at all. But it was pretty. I remember it as being kinda heavy. I had a 24" Spyder 500 (the yellow to blue fade diamond framed one) and my bike was a lot lighter than his, if I remember right.

Carl.

Worked on the seat and sissy bar hardware today.

Here is the before pic on most of the hardware.

Took the rear of the seat apart. It looks like they actually use a wheel axle going through the seat and back plate to attach it to the sissy bar.

I continue to be impressed with the condition of this seat. The underside is just as nice as the top.

The only issue was the front tab had broken through the under cover.

Fixed it with some trusty roof flashing which I will paint black

That turned out really well! Bike has a high cool factor, very unique design elements. Nice job on the refurb Kingfish!

Thanks, I am hoping to finish this up in the next few days.

Finally finished up Gundelach took it out for some photos. No detail shots yet since the sun wasn't out. I don't have time to ship it before Christmas, but this baby will be auctioned off in January.
