measuring for a internal hub

i am interested in putting a internal hub on my schwinn stingray. i. measured the inside of the rear drop outs and i got 4 and 5/8 inchs. when i converted inchs to mm i got 11633. 199999999999. so did i do something wrong please help me figure out what size hub i need

Stingrays came with 3 speed hubs, SA, so it shouldn't be an issue.

4-5/8" = 117.5mm

if the fit is close but not 100% for your hub you could always just cold set the frame to fit.

What is the actual hub width that came out of it?
BTW, a lot of even cheap plastic rulers now have one scale in inches and the other side in mm/cm.
