Memory Lane finds, Busted Bee Hive and Rat Trap

Finally got the rat trap I've been wanting for my AMC.

Kinda got this for free, other than the obviously missing threaded top of the tube what is missing?
It seems to me that the truss rod looking thing should be attached to something.

A little fixing up and these are good to go.

Yeah, you are missing the top bracket on that beehive, it is two pieces that clamp together around the center of the truss rod piece. I bet that you could fabricate something to work.
