Picked up this at the Dudley MA swap last Sunday.....

Cleaned and lubed some bearings and the chain, replaced a few things and went for a quick ride....

Will do a few things to it, but plan to keep it ratty and enjoy it.

Ditto!! It'll look good with the camper. Here's my '53 Westfield Westcoast that I'll start restoring this winter, and my BO8 build "Rad Rot" '48 Hawthorne w/ 50's Hawthorne cooler trailer I'll take with it camping and/or to shows.

I restored this seat for the Mercury using a leather coat I scored at a thrift shop for 49 cents. I also used closed cell foam I got at the craft store for padding. I wire brushed of the loose rust and used satin clear coat on the underside to keep the patina. Sorry I did not think to take photos until it was finished. I am happy with the way it turned out. I only wish I had a men's seat to restore for the bike.
