So I found this bike while scouring CL and offered up a trade and the seller bit. It's now the canvas for my first RRB competition bike. This is my 2nd ratbike I've attempted so wish me luck.

Love that combo fork. I have no idea if it still springs or not, but it doesn't matter. It's very cool!
The front wheel looks a little cramped in there. Try flipping the dropout plates around to the front of the fork legs. This may help out with the looks and maybe the way it handles when you ride it.Here she is so far.

Very nice start. That frame is exceedingly rad.
The double action fork looks functional if pivots are all operational....Kinda makes the modern, dual-AIR/OIL chamber $500 MTB shock look like a copycat design!!! Nice..

I don't think the term "Springer" actually fits on this fork... JMO, but I think "Sprung" would be a more accurate term!
