I have a Schwinn Hornet I'm working on (you may have seen my build posts http://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=21077). Here's my new problem, my tank is missing the horn, so it has a hole in it where the button would be. I really don't care if I have a horn, but would like to plug the hole with something. It can be clever (I thought about a red light) or ordinary (a rubber plug of some sort). Just wondered what some of you guys have done in this situation.

Check your local Home Depot, Lowes, or any decent hardware store and they should have an assortment of plugs from chrome to plastic and everything in between. Or if you want a button check some place like Radio Shack- they usually have all kinds of push button switches and such.
Here is an assortment of plugs to stick in or over the hole.

And here are some push button switches (I think "A" or "B" would work). You could run the to a horn, lights or whatever or just use it to dummy up the hole in the tank.

I installed a horn in my repro tank, and I kept the dummy button. Never ever throw anything away.
Send me a pm if you want it. It looks like it should be a perfect fit, just find a couple of screws.
