After a massive clean up last Christmas, the only step through frame in my inventory is this Mixte. So putting the question out there, are Mixte builds allowed?

When I picked up this one, it was somewhat of a breach cruiser Mixte, wearing 26x1.75 tyres. Thought it would make a cool build with some fat 26s, as most Mixte's I've come across are for skinny 27s.

Some pics trialling a 26x2.25?
Fitted up, these are bigger than my maxxis DTH 2.3s, and equivalent to my DMR 2.4s.

I asked back in June about a mixte frame and got no as an answer, but:

"These rules are a work in progress and not official (6/17/24)"

This is good news as I have a good mixte frame for another entry now. :113:

A lot of mixte frames have strange geometry that has a short seat tube or other features that bring the top bar higher than we were thinking

This one definitely hits or meets the under halfway up

I'd change the fork and stretch the back you can get alot of spread in a mixie

I agree, a BMX fork would look good and work well. Or a springer fork if you're going for a cruiser theme.
