do these forks raise the front of the bike at all? does it sit different from regular forks.. i welded up my motor mount level with how it sits and i don't want to cocked if i was to put these forks on it. thanks

Hi Joel, I’m planning on installing it onto the 2006 Schwinn Manta-Ray or onto a recently acquired Huffy Cranbrook – I haven’t decided yet on which one it’ll go on.

2006 Schwinn Manta-Ray

The install of a Monark springer repro was quite the task indeed! Cutting, spring tensioning, clamp placement, wobble elimination with spacers of the right size (don’t get me started) and finally, the reduction of excessive trail due to the 26-inch fork length took five days to figure out.

There are no instructions when customizing anything, we have a vision and then we have to figure-out a way to get it done.


The source of inspiration: The late Indian Larry’s type of Brooklyn Suicide Chopper w/springer and no front brakes!
