Monark/Firestone Stolen in Central Phoenix, Please Read!

I just found out that our good friends early 50's ladies Firestone/Monark was stolen from our house while we were away for the weekend. I will post pictures soon as I am able to, but I just wanted to get the word out as soon as possible. It is an all original bike except for the Schwalbe creme Fat Frank tires, very scruffy looking, tank, headlight, etc is all there.

I've never experienced something like this and let me tell you I feel pretty violated. I can't believe some stranger was in our space, going through our things. It feels so much worse that it is our friends prized possession, I would have much preferred it to be my own bike.

Anyway, like I said, I just want to get the word out. Pics up asap. If you see anything for sale, etc, PLEASE let me know!

Dude I'm sorry for you and your friend... I had my prized bike stolen from my back yard just two weeks ago, so I know what you are feeling ...

Where abouts in Central Phoenix are you... I live near the State Fair grounds and work in Downtown, so I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled for you..

I was thinking about this the other day. Over my life the one thing I've had stolen has been bikes. I had my car broken into once and the stole some clothing and an Apple Newton. But other than that, I've had bikes stolen 3 times. The last one was a brand new KHS Brentwood. I had only ridden it once. Stolen out of my locked office. The only people that could have done it were the janitors as they were the only ones that had access to the area other than myself. Never could prove it though.
