I just got it rideable today for the zero budget build, I like riding it so I'll leave it as is til I get all the parts I need to make it shiny again.
I took it to show my friend Carrie, it was her husband's bike. She got a little teary when she saw it, but they were happy tears. That's a win in my book.
Went to my LBS today, the conversation involved a value on this. I said with the history I have on it, priceless. But as a regular bike, could probably get $300.
The kid says why don't you sell it, that's a lot of money.
