Ok so I have a Mongoose XR75 That I got to ride to work years ago right before I got back into bikes. Needless to say it don't get rode much compared to my cruisers. Well I was out the other night riding with my son and I started hearing a sound and wasn't sure what it was got it home and put it away. Got it out a couple days later and went to spray the chain down and noticed the rear cassette was loose. Took the rim off and went to tighten the cassette ring and it wouldn't tighten ended up being a quarter turn from coming off. Needless to say the cassette is shot. My question is will any 7 speed cassette fit the rim or should I just scrap the whole rim and get a replacement?
