monty wards bike

I picked up a 20" girls montgomery wards bike yesterday thinking of a cool flip project for it. I have pictures that I can post but they will have to wait (need sleep first). a couple questions I have- Does anyone have a wards catalog link I can check out? The rear hub is a mexican bendix according to the arm do these rebuild like the other bendix coasters? When did wards start using sticker type headbadges (this has one)? Where are the serial numbers located on these I did not see any in the usual places but it looks there is a number stamped in the stem going in to the fork? If it helps at all the color was originally purple, front and rear fenders are bobbed and it has a white banana seat and has the remnants of training wheels. Thanks pics a lil bit later.

Mexican Bendix same basic design as any common 2-shoe coaster, a lot easier than pie. :mrgreen:

Stick on head badge

Fender mounts to the front of fork

Chain guard mount to bottom of the bottom bearing housing

Square tubing rear fender mount

Awesome purple glitter grips and in this pic you can see the "H" logo inside an oval on the grips

It's newer than '76, when their main bike supplier, Snyder, shut down. Probably late 70s or even 80s. -Adam
