this bike i love to ride on nice days and it cruises like a cadillac.

the next, is my next, 08' la jolla cruiser i got for christmas. although not a rat, it is a project that i will slowly be adding onto and customizing, from its stock form.

i love my all steel american cruisers as much as anyone here, but when i got this for christmas (from my mom), i instantly fell for its trick paint job and aluminum frame. this thing is very lightweight, for a cruiser, and i can ride this bike for days and not get tired. very fun to ride and has a easy to handle feel as well. i would like to put on some chrome cruiser handlebars on it as well as maybe some full chrome fenders like i have on my other bike pictured. a springer front fork would also look good and a custom crankset would fit in nicely. i just gotta find a 3pc crankset with a 36tooth chainring.

hope you likes my cruisers.

if anyone knows where to find a trick 3pc crankset with a 36tooth chainring, id appreciate any info. i know the red one isn't really rat, but it is a before pict and i still dig it. comments?

Nice Huffy! Here's my '89 Good Vibrations Cruiser. 52T front chainring and a S/A 3 speed rear hub.

those are nice gvs, RZ94. that 52 chainring is sweet and that 24" is really clean. wish i had a few 3speed rearends for some of my cruisers with all the hills i have around here. i had a time of it shoe horning those fenders onto mine, but the look it gave it is all worth it. thanks for the response. :D

Thanks. I know about the fender deal. Its why my Black one doesn't have them.....

This old Monark had 26 x 1.75's when I got it. During the resto, I added 26 x 2.125's, and had to change over to these ducktailed fenders to fit the fatter tires in, and its still a bit "tight".

It was worth the effort 'cause they really fill the fenders up. Got them from Lovely Lowriders, and came with chromed struts.

yeah, they are a tight fit, but i still dig them. i dampened mine by adding a small piece of old inner tube between the fender mount bracket and the inside of the fenders where they meet up. i just sandwiched it on the inside of the fender under the mounts and you can't even see them from the outside and they kill all road noises, vibrations or reverbarations (not even sure that is a real word, but im useing it). just a little tip. sweet bike. nice shade of blue. :D

I think I read another post about you doing that on the fenders, and it does work well. Stops all that "mystery" rattling....
