Last Thursday I picked this up from Craigslist for $10.00.... It was the Lady of the house's bike for 50 odd years sitting for a dozen outside....
Next on Saturday I hooked up with an area scrapper / bike guy and scored these couple of items FREE... A 24" Bendix Rim and a Perons/Vista Banana seat.... I'm going back soon to score a few more items, we are probably going to be doing some swapping...
I just might end up doing RRBBO 7, parts and ideas are coming to me....and this year I'll finish on time....
And then last night after work I picked this up from a neighbor...FREE... a woman's version of the mens Sears Brittany Free Spirit bike that I'd started parting out.... I think I'll use this one for parts and rebuild the mens... it was a good hauling bike...
As I said, I hope to be getting more parts and I have a frame (RATTY as all get out) on the way....
