Motomag and a Rovan Mag

I went to a friends bike shop in Knoxville and picked up some regular Chinese 20" wheels and asked if he had any used 20"ers and he told me to look upstairs. the upstairs at the shop is like a time capsule. i went to the "wheel room" which was full of various sizes and defective wheels. i found these. . . .





i had a 26" wheel that had a bendix coaster brake in it. i gutted it and put it inthe Rovan wheel. fits perfectly!





by the way. . . . . .i got them for free!!!

i think the rovan started turning up on Schwinn Scramblers around 76, but most of them were stamped with the name Morris on them. the one i have only says Rovan Industries. . . . hmmm.

If I remember right the Rovan/Morris mag ,I had a Morris at one time, same company made wheels for Harley at one time.

"Agent Orange" is an Iverson Roadrunner, the gold one i put the Rovan mag on is an Iverson Charger.
