Thanks! yes, that changability, i'm really liking that. I used to do a lot of woodworking. That's easier to shape, but a LOT less forgiving.

I'm pretty sure flap disk's are world wide. I built for a long time ,before I discovered them. One on a 4'' side grinder makes it really easy to clean your welds. I tried a regular grinding wheel the other day and I can't live without flap disks. I had to stop and go buy some more.

I use them too. Can't beat 'm. There is a big difference between the cheap ones and the quality stuff too.
But i do'nt clean up the welds to much. just get the spatter off and grind down the really big blobs

Think this weekend i'll have me a roller
This is the mock up picture

lookin good..

was thinking last night that you could make a air *dam*/cover to hide the engine and
run with cards in the spokes to mask the sound!

not sure on your plans or how much cash your going to thow into it but
check this out might be a nice addition to your build...

*some day i will make it over there and kick around Amsterdam and
see what those coffee shops are all about*

You mean the shiftkit? I'm making my own. I've thought about a cover, maybe. ...
But the shiftkit will be cool with the 7speed

Mockup for the mounting plate for the jackshaft.

It 'll be really cool to motor this thing with a 7-speed.

and a little harder for them to keep up also 8)

Heheh, yeah! Wel it'll still be slow, but a little less slow :)

Pedal mockup:

These are 115mm cranks, but i have enough ground clearance for 140mm cranks. I just don't have 'm yet...

And with bars

Motormounts mockup:

I'm thinking about adding a motormount that attaches to the cilinder/head. Mainly because i think it looks so flimsy likt this....

And it seems i was a little optimistic about the pedalling position...

But i guess i'll try it like this. I can always change it around a litlle. First remedy will be some wide cruiser bars. That would seriously kill the look though. We'll see.

One of the bolts holding togheter the lower casing could be used to add a extra support tube to the frame.. Just look under the engine and you will see what i mean.. :)

I thought the bike was huge until I saw the picture of you sitting on it.

Get that alot, the bikes look so big in the workshop, like full size motorbikes some of them
then we see the owner on

We get to see the 'real' size ...fantastic work, i really like the lines of the frame i wish you well
in the rest of the build A+ thus far IMO :)

Got some plates lasered today:

The two square plates mount to the hub.

the motorchain and the chain to the rear hub are also connected by 4 8mm rods through some copper tubing. so all that incredible torque won't need to go through the tiny screws.
