mounting a headlight on a springer

What about using the hole in the bottom of the fork tube, I've seen caliper brakes mounted through it.

Had a similar problem on a truss fork, but this probably wouldn't work as good on a springer.

Guess it depends on what bracketry you can find/make, i've done it a few different ways;
