Picked this a few weeks back, very little wear on the pedals and bearings, mostly all complete even has the original glitter black bar wrap! Going to gently clean and re grease, service the S/A hub and leave it as a “ as found survivor “ Only thing I really need is black glitter handle bar end plugs. And what I think was a S/A “ adapter to go from the shift chain to the barrel nut. Thanks for lookin !!

Awesome find! If it were mine I'd tear it completely down and concentrate on restoring each part before putting it back together. The condition of that chrome is worrisome. You make not be able to bring it back, but if you make a kiddie pool of Evaporust that will fit the frame, you could get a good start on a lot of the parts.

Yes it’s apart now, the chrome is coming out so so. My thought is you can’t do just the chrome or just repaint, either you completely restore everything or leave it as a survivor , I actually find survivor bikes , cars etc more interesting, once you go beyond cleaning, preservation , and any minor work it’s no longer original. Don’t get me wrong I have “restored a few that were too far gone” ..
