This is one of my rare Ebay purchases - $50. I really like all these old framed bicycles. I doubt this has the original wheels - the rear has a Bendix hub and the front has a Schwinn Scripted hub both with cream rims and pin stripes. At least this one has a seat that can handle my weight. The only reason I know this is Murray built is I read another thread about a different bike and they referenced the one on Ebay. Don't know what I'm going to do with it yet but it will be fun.

Nice score and well worth the money. The seat and stem are worth $50.

Reallyy sweet bike. Semi rare if I'm not mistaken- or at least uncommon- because it has the odd, rear facing and horizontal slotted dropouts. Very similar to those on my '43 Murray, kind of uncommon too it seems.

id either do a full restoration or wouldnt change a thing. that bike is a really good find and with great patina. :mrgreen:
