Inspirational! I am building a monterey. Same purple color with some grey. Miami Vice style so I guess it was an 80s model. Sanded to bare metal and picked up a $20 cranbrook for fenders and stem. Going to try a three speed hub. Something between a rat rod and a custom. Planning a copper green and black color scheme. I haven't got the details worked out but I'll consult my five year old if I need direction.
